SEASON 66 GRADUATING SENIORS

As we close out season 66 we would like to spotlight our graduating seniors. We hope music will remain an important part of your lives, whether it be the foundation of your career path or treasured avocation. Congratulations and welcome to your new role as SYS Alumni!

Zach Warren graduated from McKay High School in Salem, OR. He played violin in Amadeus Players, Philharmonia, and Youth Symphony. Zach will be attending Oregon State University in the fall pursuing a major in chemical engineering and a minor in music.

“I loved getting the chance to play The New World by Dvorak with SYS.” -Zach Warren

Miles Wierer-Huling graduated from Sprague High School in Salem, OR.  He played violin and viola in Philharmonia and Youth Symphony. He will be attending PSU in the fall pursuing a BA in music. He plans to possibly minor in Chinese with the goal of doing a study abroad in the near future; combining Chinese and music studies. Miles will continue to explore musically this summer with tentative programs with Salem Orchestra, as well as the guitar program of YMA.

“After taking a season off my Sophomore year, getting to play Pictures at an Exhibition in its entirety was such an honor and joy.” -Miles Wierer-Huling
